The Steelers re-signed three restricted free agents — ORT Willie Colon, CB William Gay and TE Matt Spaeth — to one-year contracts on Friday.

Colon, 27, has started 50 consecutive games at right tackle for Pittsburgh and has emerged as one of the better players at his position. The 6-foot-3, 315-pound Colon was a fourth-round pick in 2006.

Gay, 25, started 14 games for Pittsburgh last season. He was a fifth-round pick in the '07 draft. Gay (5-10, 190) made 78 tackles and defended 10 passes in 2009.

The 6-foot-7, 270-pound Spaeth, who has primarily contributed as a blocker, played in all 16 games for Pittsburgh last season, starting seven. The Steelers drafted the 26-year-old tight end in Round Three of the '07 draft.
