Raiders MLB Kirk Morrison announced he signed his restricted free-agent tender on Twitter late Wednesday.

"I'm excited to see what the 2010 season holds," Morrison wrote.

Morrison, a third-round pick in 2005, received an original-pick tender from Oakland. The one-year deal is for $2.524 million.

The 28-year-old has made at least 116 tackles every season of his career.
