Steelers PK Jeff Reed signed his one-year, $2.814 million tender on Tuesday. The Steelers designated him their franchise player in February.

Reed hit 27-of-31 field goals (87.1 percent) last season for the Steelers. In the last three seasons, Reed, 31, has connected on 77-of-87 field-goal attempts (88.5 percent).

On Monday, the remaining two charges against Reed stemming from an October incident outside a Pittsburgh bar were dropped by a Pittsburgh judge.
