Jets QB Kellen Clemens, a second-round pick in 2006, signed his original-pick tender, which is worth $1.176 million, Tuesday, according to a Scout.com report.

Clemens recently expressed a desire to play for a different team, since he's not going to get a chance to start in New York while playing behind Mark Sanchez, but no team expressed interest in signing him to an offer sheet.

The 26-year-old has a career completion percentage of 51.8 and he has compiled a touchdown-interception ratio of 5-11.
