WR Brandon Marshall signed his one-year tender Tuesday, according to an ESPN report, but some still expect him to be traded before next week's draft. Marshall was scheduled to speak with head coach Josh McDaniels over the phone on Tuesday.
With Marshall under contract, the Broncos can seek out a trading partner to take the star receiver off their hands if they choose. The Seahawks are the only team that arranged a visit with Marshall when he was a restricted free agent.
Marshall, who has had at least 1,120 receiving yards in each of the past three seasons, was tendered at the first-round level and his one-year deal is worth $2.5 million.
