Redskins QB Jason Campbell signed his one-year, $3.1 million restricted free-agent tender Monday, taking him off the market but making him eligible to be traded.

Campbell essentially became a lame duck in Washington when the team acquired QB Donovan McNabb from the Eagles two weeks ago.

The Redskins gave Campbell, who was tendered at a first-round level, permission to seek a trade, but he was unable to find any takers. It's possible that a deal could materialize during the draft.

The 2005 first-round draft choice (25th overall) has stopped attending team workouts and isn't expected to attend the three-day minicamp scheduled for next weekend.
