Cowboys restricted free-agent DE Marcus Spears has signed his one-year tender, the team's Web site reported Tuesday.
Spears had been tendered at the second-round level, which calls for a salary of $1.226 million in 2010. He has started 71 games during his five-year NFL career.
Dallas also signed free-agent LB Steve Octavien to his exclusive-rights tender.
