The Seahawks and Lions completed two trades on Monday, sending OG Rob Sims to Detroit in the more noteworthy of the two deals.
The Lions traded a fifth-round pick for Sims, who will get a chance to be the team’s starting left guard. Sims, who started 14 games for the Seahawks last season, signed his restricted free-agent tender with the team prior to the deal.
In a separate deal, the Seahawks acquired DE Robert Henderson from the Lions for a seventh-round pick.
In the end, the Lions pick up Sims and the Seahawks’ seventh-round pick, and the Seahawks acquire Henderson and Detroit’s fifth-rounder.
