Orlando, Fla., police have reopened an assault case involving Steelers WR Santonio Holmes.

Anshonae Mills, 21, filed a lawsuit last week alleging Holmes grabbed her face and threw a glass at her on March 7 in an Orlando nightclub, cutting her above the eye. She also claimed in the lawsuit that Holmes and a police officer had intimidated her into not pressing charges.

Sgt. Barbara Jones confirmed that Orlando police had reopened the case but didn't provide any additional information.

Holmes has denied hurting Mills. According to a police report, he told an officer that Mills grabbed his wrist and called him a racial name, and then another woman threw the glass that hit Mills in the face.
