The Jaguars announced Thursday that they have re-signed UFA DE Reggie Hayward. The length and terms of the contract are undisclosed.

Hayward, 31, has played 10 years in the NFL and has spent the past six seasons with the Jaguars. His career stats include 39½ career sacks (17½ with the Jaguars), eight forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries.

Hayward spent the final 15 games of 2009 on injured reserve after breaking his leg in the season opener in Indianapolis.

Originally drafted in the third round in '01 by the Broncos, Hayward signed with the Jaguars as an unrestricted free agent in '05.
