The Bills announced Wednesday that the team has signed free-agent WR Chad Jackson and re-signed CB Ashton Youboty, a restricted free agent. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Jackson, a second-round pick of the Patriots in 2006, spent two disappointing seasons with New England before being released. He was picked up by Denver and played four games with the Broncos in 2008. He spent the ’09 preseason with Denver before being released prior to the regular season.
Youboty, a four-year NFL veteran, has played in 30 games with seven starts for the Bills, who drafted him in the third round of the 2006 draft.
He played 11 games in ’09, starting once, and tallied nine tackles and four pass breakups. He has 54 tackles, two sacks and one interception for his career.
