The Dolphins are in need of an outside linebacker, but they're not rushing to have Jason Taylor fill the void. Miami released OLB Joey Porter earlier this month and it allowed Taylor to become an unrestricted free agent, leaving Cameron Wake and Charlie Anderson as the top two outside 'backers on the roster. Taylor played well last season and head coach Tony Sparano has called him a "super guy" and said he enjoyed coaching him, but he's speaking in the past tense about having Taylor on the team. Taylor, who is heading into his 14th season, has said other teams have shown interest in him since he became a free agent. He's recovering from arthroscopic shoulder surgery, though, and isn't expected to fully recover until mid-May. Negotiations with other teams could heat up at that point, and the Dolphins could come calling if they don't spend an early pick on an outside 'backer in the draft.
