Ravens' PK situation fluid once again

The Ravens' interest in unrestricted free agent Shayne Graham is a clear indication the club isn't tied to having Billy Cundiff beginning the 2010 season as its placekicker. Cundiff, a restricted free agent, hit 12-of-17 field goals a season ago after replacing Steven Hauschka last November, but he would be in danger of losing his job were the Ravens to sign Graham, who has hit an impressive 85.2 percent of his career field-goal attempts and connected on 23-of-28 regular-season field-goal tries in 2009. Graham, 32, struggled early in the '09 campaign in part because of Cincinnati's snapping woes, but he kicked well later in the regular season. However, he faltered in the Bengals' playoff loss to the Jets, missing both field goals. Kickoffs are not his strong suit, either, but he averaged just two-tenths of a yard less than Cundiff did a season ago in a combined 54 kickoffs for Cleveland and Baltimore. Graham could also return to Cincinnati, but the Bengals, who used the franchise tag on him last season, haven't been nearly as proactive in this free-agent signing period after his somewhat disappointing '09 season.
