The Bengals re-signed SLB Rashad Jeanty, a restricted free agent, on Thursday. Terms were not disclosed.

Jeanty notched a team-best 14 special teams tackles for Cincinnati in 2009. He played 15 games, starting one. The 6-foot-2, 247-pound Jeanty was Cincinnati's starter on the strong side before Rey Maualuga won the job last summer.

Jeanty, 26, has made 214 tackles on defense in four seasons with Cincinnati.
