The 49ers officially announced Tuesday that they have re-signed veteran free-agent OT Barry Sims to a one-year deal. The San Francisco Chronicle reported that Sims could receive up to $2.1 million if all the incentives in his contract are met.
The 6-5, 300-pound Sims Is entering his 12th NFL season after originally being signed as an undrafted free agent by the Raiders in 1999.
