The Colts officially announced the signing Monday morning of free-agent OT Adam Terry. The 6-8, 335-pound Terry adds considerable beef to an offensive line that team president Bill Polian has vowed to make bigger and stronger this offseason. A 2005 second-round draft pick of the Ravens, Terry was a restricted free agent who was not tendered a one-year offer by Baltimore. The Indianapolis Star reported Saturday that Terry had agreed to a one-year contract after a visit to Indianapolis earlier in the week.

The 27-year-old Terry never quite lived up to expectations for the Ravens, starting 18-of-48 regular-season games in his five pro seasons. Terry sat out the ’09 season after suffering a knee injury during training camp. He was a four-year letterman at Syracuse who started 35-of-39 career games at right tackle.
