Despite a host of needs on both sides of the ball, the Bills have been one of the quieter teams in the early part of free agency. Their lone move thus far, however, could turn out to be an important one. Buffalo agreed to terms with free-agent OT Cornell Green on March 8, signing him to a three-year, $9 million contract. Although not a splashy maneuver, the decision to bring in Green helps beef up an offensive line that had plenty of issues in 2009 and was especially thin at the tackle position. From what we hear, Green, who has played both OT spots, is likely to step right in as the starter on the right side, a place at which he feels right at home. "I've been playing right tackle for most of my career," said the 10-year vet. "I'm very comfortable there, so there's not going to be a transition at all." Green, 33, spent the last three seasons with the Raiders, starting all 38 games in which he played. Even with this addition, the Bills are still likely to target a starting left tackle early in the draft, possibly with the ninth overall pick.
