The Buccaneers announced they signed LB Jon Alston late Friday.

Alston, a fifth-year veteran, spent the previous three seasons with the Raiders and played in 36 games while starting in eight. He's made 66 tackles in his career on defense and also recorded 20 special-teams tackles.

He will likely serve as a backup ’backer and special-teams contributor in Tampa Bay.
