The Bengals signed ex-Titans WR Chris Davis on Friday. Terms were not disclosed.

Davis, a fourth-round pick of the Titans in 2007, played two seasons for Tennessee, primarily contributing on special teams. He regularly returned punts for the Titans as a rookie, racking up 293 yards on 31 returns. However, he struggled to hold on to the ball, fumbling six times overall (five on punts) in '07. For his career, the 5-10, 181-pound Davis has caught seven passes for 69 yards.

The Titans waived Davis with an injury settlement on Aug. 28. Tennessee re-signed him on Nov. 3 but cut him five days later. Davis didn't appear in an NFL game in '09.
