The Raiders created a vacancy on the interior of their defensive line Thursday.

Oakland reportedly released DT Gerard Warren, ending his tenure with the team after three seasons. He had a roster bonus due on March 16.

The Raiders' run defense has been a major problem in recent years, and Warren contributed to its struggles. The 31-year-old started every game in the past two seasons and made 35 tackles and two sacks in 2009.
