Broncos observers were caught off guard Thursday, as the team released ILB Andra Davis, according to reports.
Davis started 13-of-16 games last season, his first in Denver, and played well. The eight-year veteran made 90 tackles and had 3½ sacks. Davis signed with the Broncos last offseason as they transitioned from a 4-3 defense to a 3-4.
Denver also released DT J'Vonne Parker, who missed last season with an injury.
