The Titans have agreed to terms with ex-Eagles OLB Will Witherspoon on a multiyear deal, the club confirmed on its Twitter feed Wednesday.

Witherspoon's contract is for three years and $11 million, with $5 million in guarantees, The (Nashville) Tennessean reported.

Witherspoon played in 11 regular-season games with the Eagles last season after being acquired from St. Louis in October in exchange for rookie WR Brandon Gibson and a 2010 fifth-round draft choice. He notched 59 tackles and defended five passes for Philadelphia. Witherspoon, who turns 30 in August, was released by the Eagles last week.

Witherspoon is likely to start at outside linebacker for the Titans. OLB Keith Bulluck, the Titans' second-leading tackler last season, is coming off knee surgery and is an unrestricted free agent.
