The Cardinals have agreed to terms on one-year contracts with free-agent TEs Anthony Becht and Stephen Spach. In addition, the team announced that DE Jeremy Clark has signed his exclusive-rights contract. In accordance with club policy, terms were not disclosed.
Becht, who was an unrestricted free agent, played in all 16 regular-season games with 10 starts in 2009, collecting seven receptions for 61 yards and one touchdown. He was considered a key in the Cardinals rushing for 16 touchdowns last season, the highest team total since it recorded 18 in ’98.
Spach, a restricted free agent, played in seven games (five starts) for the Cardinals in ’09 and had four catches for 38 yards. He originally came to Arizona as a free agent on Oct, 28, 2008, and appeared in 11 games that season with six starts at tight end.
