The Bengals re-signed TE Daniel Coats on Wednesday. Terms were not disclosed.

Coats played in all 16 regular-season games for Cincinnati in 2009, making 11 starts. Primarily a blocker, he caught 16 passes for 150 yards and no touchdowns.

Coats, 25, is entering his fourth NFL season. He is likely to compete for playing time in two-TE sets in 2010.
