The Bills have made their first noise in free agency, signing UFA OT Cornell Green to a three-year, $9 million deal on Monday, according to NFL.com.
Green, 33, spent the past three seasons at right tackle with the Raiders, starting all 38 games in which he played. Prior to that, the 10-year veteran was a member of the Bucs, Broncos and Jets.
After losing Jonathan Scott in free agency and the unexpected retirement of Brad Butler, the Bills were left ultra-thin at the offensive tackle position, forcing them to make a move. In addition to the signing of Green, it's likely that the club uses an early draft choice on a tackle in April.
