The Texans on Friday agreed to terms with WR Kevin Walter on a five-year, $21.5 million contract with $8 million in guaranteed money, The Houston Chronicle reported.
Walter caught 53 passes for 611 yards with two TDs in 14 games for Houston last season. The Ravens reportedly had interest in him but traded for Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin on Friday.
Walter, 28, has played the last four seasons with the Texans after stints with the Giants (2003) and Bengals (2003-05). He's been a good fit in Gary Kubiak's offense and has been a reliable complementary target to top receiver Andre Johnson.
