After a disappointing first season in Oakland, the Raiders have decided to give OT Khalif Barnes another chance.

The team re-signed Barnes to a one-year deal late Friday, according to a San Francisco Chronicle report. Barnes was due to become a restricted free agent this offseason, but Oakland did not tender him before the deadline, which made him an unrestricted free agent.

The 27-year-old played in six games last season and made two starts. Barnes broke his ankle last year in training camp, which sidelined him early in the season.
