Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum announced the team would be paying S Kerry Rhodes' $2 million roster bonus on March 12 during a press conference Friday.

There had been speculation that Rhodes would be released after he was pulled from the starting lineup last season. He eventually re-claimed his starting spot, but there was still uncertainty about his future until Tannenbaum cleared things up.

Rhodes, 27, made 63 tackles last season and had three interceptions.
