The Chargers announced Friday that they have re-signed DE Alfonso Boone and TE Kris Wilson. Both players were unrestricted free agents and agreed to new two-year contracts.
Boone signed with the Chargers in 2009 after the team lost DT Jamal Williams to injury. Boone appeared in 13 games last season, starting four, and recorded 21 tackles and three sacks. Boone previously played for two seasons with the Chiefs and seven seasons with the Bears.
Wilson signed with the Chargers prior to the 2008 season. Known as more of a blocker than receiver who also contributes on special teams, Wilson caught four passes for 28 yards last season.
The Chargers also announced that restricted free-agent DT Antonio Garay was re-signed on Friday.
