Falcons LS Mike Schneck announced his retirement Thursday, the team said in a press release.

Schneck spent 11 seasons in the league and made it to the Pro Bowl in 2005 as a member of the Bills. The 32-year-old spent the first six seasons of his career with the Steelers before going to Buffalo for two seasons. He finished off his career in Atlanta.

His final season was cut short by an injury, which landed him on injured reserve after Week Eight.
