The Chiefs announced on Wednesday that they have released WR Devard Darling and RB Dantrell Savage.

Darling, a six-year veteran, spent the 2009 season on injured reserve with the Chiefs. He played the first four seasons of his career with the Ravens before playing with Kansas City in ’08.

Savage saw duty in 13 career games over two seasons with the Chiefs after entering the league as a free agent in ’08.
