The Saints have tendered two more restricted free agents, according to reports.
PFW correspondent Mike Triplett, a beat writer for the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports the Saints have placed the highest tender on OG Jahri Evans, who was named to the Pro Bowl last season. Evans would make $3.168 million under the tender. An opposing team would have to give up first- and third-round picks to sign him away. It's a high price to pay, even for a guard of Evans' caliber. It would be surprising if a team presented him with an offer sheet.
Reports indicate Bell received the lowest tender on Monday, which carries a salary of $1.176 million. Since Bell was undrafted, the Saints would not receive compensation if another team signed him.
