The Jaguars announced Monday that they have re-signed DT Montavious Stanley, who was scheduled to become a restricted free agent at the end of this week. Stanley, a fourth-year pro, played in a career-high 15 games in 2009, finishing with 24 tackles, one sack, three passes defensed and one tackle for loss.

The Jaguars did not release the terms of the contract.

Signed by the Jaguars as a free agent last July, Stanley has also played for the Cowboys, Rams, Falcons and Saints. He was originally a sixth-round pick of the Cowboys in 2006.
