Multiple media outlets have reported that the Colts have hired the recently fired Bears offensive coordinator Ron Turner to coach the team's wide receivers.

With Turner — who had been hired by Jim Harbaugh to be Stanford's QB coach after getting fired by the Bears — now reportedly going to work in Indianapolis, it would appear the door is opened for Clyde Christensen, the Colts' previous WR coach, to replace 71-year-old Tom Moore as the team's offensive coordinator.

The Colts have yet to confirm the hiring of Turner and are keeping a low profile at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, opting not to include head coach Jim Caldwell among the NFL figures speaking at the annual event.
