Raiders head coach Tom Cable will not be disciplined by the NFL after the league conducted an investigation into allegations that he commited acts of domestic violence against women and broke the jaw of former assistant coach Randy Hanson.

Reports indicate NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said Cable's role in the training-camp incident with Hanson warranted an evaluation under the league's personal conduct policy. No criminal charges were filed against Cable.

Hanson filed a civil lawsuit against Cable and the Raiders on Tuesday. The lawsuit contained three causes of action — assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Cable's first wife and former girlfriend both alleged that Cable physically abused them at times during their relationship.
