The Chiefs announced on Wednesday that the club has released veteran OG Mike Goff. The Chiefs also re-signed QB Matt Gutierrez and RB Kolby Smith.

Goff, a 12-year veteran, has played in 171 games (154 starts), including eight games (and seven starts) for the Chiefs in 2009.

Gutierrez, who entered the league as a free agent with New England in 2007, has appeared in six regular-season NFL contests with the Patriots (2007-08) and Chiefs (2009).

Smith, a three-year veteran, has seen action in 27 games (nine starts) with the Chiefs (2007-09).
