The Jets signed PK Nick Folk to a one-year contract Tuesday, according to an ESPN report.

The typically accurate Folk, who made 46 of 53 field goals in his first two seasons, struggled in 2009 and connected on just 18 of 28 attempts. He was cut by the Cowboys after Week 15 last season and tried out for the Giants last week before landing with the Jets.

The Jets' placekicker from ’09, Jay Feely, will become an unrestricted free agent on March 5.
