The Bills released seven players on Tuesday, including TE Derek Fine and DB John Wendling.

Fine, a fourth-round pick in 2008, started 11 games in his two seasons with Buffalo, catching 19 passes for 158 yards and a touchdown.

Wendling, a sixth-round choice in '07, played in all 16 games in each of the past two seasons as a reserve. His best year came in '09, when he had 26 tackles and one interception.

The Bills also parted ways with WR Justin Jenkins, DE Jermaine McGhee, LB Ashlee Palmer, C Marvin Philip and DE Marcus Smith.

In addition, Buffalo announced the hiring of Stan Kwan as assistant special-teams coach. Entering his 20th NFL season, Kwan spent the past two years coordinating special teams in Detroit. He will coach under the newly hired Bruce DeHaven.
