The Broncos are expected by some to deal WR Brandon Marshall away this offseason, but Marshall recently expressed remorse over what he called "unprofessional" behavior last year and said he is willing to return to Denver to play in 2010. There was bad blood between Marshall and head coach Josh McDaniels when the regular season ended, after McDaniels publicly questioned the severity of Marshall's hamstring injury, and many figured that meant the end of Marshall's tenure with the team. It's unlikely that his recent comments are enough to extinguish the fire that was left burning at the end of the season, although Marshall's new attitude could convince some teams with interest in acquiring him that he's matured. Denver's asking price for Marshall will apparently start at first- and third-round draft picks, and Marshall, who will become a restricted free agent in March, could demand a heavily loaded long-term deal from whatever club he plays for in '10.
