Browns WR Donté Stallworth will be reinstated by commissioner Roger Goodell at some point after the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Goodell made the announcement at his state-of-the-league address on Friday.

Stallworth was suspended without pay in August after he reached a plea agreement in a DUI manslaughter charge. The 29-year-old was driving under the influence when he struck and killed a pedestrian on a causeway connecting Miami and Miami Beach on March 14, 2009. He served a 24-day jail sentence.

Goodell, who said he met with Stallworth before the Dolphins' regular-season finale, did not say exactly when Stallworth would be reinstated into the league.
