One of the interesting subplots of the Cowboys' offseason will be the talk about how much more work Felix Jones and Tashard Choice will get — and perhaps how much less will be in the hands of Marion Barber. Suffering through knee, quadriceps and thumb injuries, Barber slumped a bit down the stretch in 2009, failing to convert several short-yardage attempts. By the end of the season, Jones had taken over as the featured back of the group, which even has led to some trade rumors involving Barber. The biggest problem with that scenario is that Jones has yet to show he can stay healthy throughout the course of a season, and there isn't any depth beyond Choice. Trading Barber and his nearly $4 million salary doesn't make a ton of sense, though it's clear that Jones and Choice could take some of his workload next season.
