QBs Peyton Manning and Tom Brady head the 53-player 2000s NFL All-Decade team announced by the league Sunday.
Manning, Colts DE Dwight Freeney and Saints FS Darren Sharper are the three participants in Super Bowl XLIV who were named to the All-Decade squad, and 12 members of the team played in the Pro Bowl at Sun Life Stadium in Miami on Sunday.
The 2000s squad marks the ninth All-Decade team, as chosen every 10 years by the Pro Football Hall of Fame selection committee..
Besides the 53-player team, two coaches were named — the Patriots' Bill Belichick and retired Colts head coach Tony Dungy.
