The NFL has dismissed Vikings OT Bryant McKinnie from the NFC's Pro Bowl team for unexcused absences.

McKinnie, who had been selected for his first Pro Bowl, missed practice Friday and Saturday. He is subject to a fine, and he will not collect his game check, which is $22,500 for members of the losing team and $45,000 for those on the winning team.

Panthers DE Julius Peppers also had an unexcused absence from practice Friday, but he returned to practice Saturday.
