RB Thomas Jones carried the Jets' offense frequently while rookie QB Mark Sanchez adjusted to the pros during the regular season. Jones set career highs with 1,402 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns, but there's a good chance he will be playing elsewhere next season. Rookie RB Shonn Greene rushed for at least 128 yards and a TD in each of the club's two playoff wins and showed signs that he's ready to carry a heftier load, while Jones averaged just 2.6 yards per carry in the postseason. GM Mike Tannenbaum told reporters at the Senior Bowl he hopes to have Jones back, but he also referenced the $3 million roster bonus Jones is due in March. The bonus could be an obstacle to keeping the 31-year-old for another season. Jones wants a contract extension, but the Jets appear to be more interested in cutting his pay and reducing his role in 2010.
