Bengals LB Rey Maualuga was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and careless driving early Friday morning in Covington, Ky.
According to the police report of the incident, Maualuga allegedly struck two parked cars and a parking meter while driving a 2003 Pontiac. The report stated that Maualuga had a blood-alcohol level of .157. Per The Associated Press, Maualuga spent about seven hours at Keaton County Jail before being released on his own recognizance.
Maualuga, 23, started 15 games for the Bengals as a rookie in 2009, notching 63 tackles. He suffered a broken left ankle vs. Kansas City in Week 16.
