The Pro Football Weekly/Yahoo! Sports 2009 Fantasy Guide has been named the best fantasy football publication of the year by the Fantasy Sports Writers Association.

The award was handed out during the Fantasy Sports Trade Association's annual business conference, held Jan. 26 and 27 in Las Vegas. PFW/Yahoo! beat out finalists RotoWire and Fantasy Football Index for the honor.

The fantasy guide was a collaborative effort from the staffs at PFW, headed up by lead fantasy writer Michael Blunda, and Yahoo! Sports, led by assistant managing editor Brandon Funston. It was the first time the two companies combined on a fantasy publication.
