Raiders managing partner Al Davis will meet with head coach Tom Cable on Monday and explain to him the reasons for which he's being fired, according to a San Francisco Chronicle report.

The report indicates the only question is whether Cable will be fired for cause or not.

Cable said after the Raiders' season finale that he expected to stay on as head coach into the 2010 season, but it appears Davis is ready to make another change. The Raiders, who had a 5-11 record under Cable this season, have had five head coaches since 2002.
