With offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan joining his father, Mike, in Washington, the Texans are looking for a new play-caller. It's believed head coach Gary Kubiak could tab someone with whom he has worked before, with Broncos OL coach Rick Dennison, former Chiefs offensive coordinator Chan Gailey and Falcons QB coach Bill Musgrave among the candidates, according to The Houston Chronicle. In stints as an assistant coach and as a player in Denver, Kubiak coached with Dennison, coached Musgrave and was coached by Gailey. No matter who ends up being the coordinator, this ultimately will remain Kubiak's offense, with any changes minor. "Whoever I end up bringing in here, whoever I work with, I want to get them to the same point that I am with Kyle and that I was with the other guys, where I can say, 'Hey, go ahead. If I don't like something, I'm going to jump in,' " Kubiak said.
