Patriots WR Wes Welker appeared to injure his left knee before sustaining contact in the first quarter of the game against the Texans.
Welker ran a pivot route and caught a pass from QB Tom Brady, but before Welker was hit by S Bernard Pollard (the same player who caused Brady's season-ending injury last season) he appeared to go down after his left knee buckled.
After the play, Welker left the field area on a cart with a towel over his head. He was visited by several teammates, including Randy Moss, who also might see his day end now that Welker has gone down.
