Titans WR Kenny Britt continues to be a solid No. 3 WR option in most formats. Even with Justin Gage (back) returning in Week 14, Britt started and caught passes of 44 and 31 yards. He didn't score, but he had scored in three previous games, and he gives the impression of a player who's improving every week.

The Browns may get WR/"Wildcat" weapon Joshua Cribbs some more carries in the final weeks of the season. Since he's likely listed as a wideout, he might be a sleeper flex or No. 3 WR play if indeed he starts getting a little work at tailback.

Steelers WR Hines Ward (hamstring) is expected to play in Week 15 vs. Green Bay. He's a solid start in three-WR formats, as Green Bay has surrendered 24 TD passes, third most in the NFL.

Ravens WR Derrick Mason merits starting consideration against a Chicago defense that's allowed 21 TD passes.

Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis has indicated he'd like to see more big plays out of the passing game. With WR Chad Ochocinco the club's only semi-consistent vertical threat at this point, he's not a bad starting option in the least this week as Cincinnati tries to get back on track.

Owners should seriously consider putting Falcons WR Roddy White on the bench this week. He'll go up against Jets CB Darrelle Revis, who has shut down top receivers throughout the season.

The Vikings' pass defense has been average for much of this season, but owners should think twice before playing Panthers WR Steve Smith this week. Carolina will be giving ORT Geoff Schwartz his first career start with Jeff Otah sidelined, and Minnesota figures to bring some extra pressure from that side. We'll see if keeping a tight end in to block or chipping with a back is enough, but Panthers QB Matt Moore figures to be hurried often, and Smith's downfield opportunities could be limited.

In the past, the Raiders have stopped Broncos WR Brandon Marshall from having the type of monster day he did last week, when he made 21 catches vs. the Colts. Marshall has never had more than six catches or 84 yards against Oakland and he has only scored one TD against the Raiders (in Week Three of '09). Keep Marshall in the lineup, but don't expect another huge outing.

Owners who have had Jets WR Braylon Edwards on the bench recently might want to consider playing him this week against the Falcons. Atlanta is ranked 30th against the pass.

After missing the last four games due to a league-imposed suspension, Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe will return this week against the Browns. Reports indicate that he reported back to the team in good shape, so it's expected that he'll instantly return to the starting lineup. Bowe is a risky fantasy start after not playing since Nov. 15, but if you're in dire need of a wideout, he at least has a favorable matchup.

After a two-game stretch in which he ran wild, Bills WR Terrell Owens has cooled off greatly over the past two games, accounting for just 5-46-1 receiving. This week he gets a New England "D" that held him to two catches in Week One, though that was with a different QB under center. Considering that the Pats have been vulnerable to passing TDs, yielding 22, T.O. could find paydirt this week. Don't bother with Lee Evans, though, who's been ice cold for the past month.

Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald was practicing on a limited basis at midweek and is insisting that he will play this Sunday against the Lions despite spraining his right knee Monday night against the Niners. An MRI found no structural damage in Fitzgerald's knee.

Colts WR Reggie Wayne, who faces the Jaguars Thursday evening, had 10 catches for 162 yards and a TD vs. Jacksonville in Week One. But teams have been doubling on Wayne lately — a tactic the Jags are likely to employ considering the damage Wayne did against them in the season opener — which could create more opportunities for red-hot WR Pierre Garcon. Garcon has averaged 86.5 yards over the past four games, including his first two 100-yard games.

Keep an eye on Niners rookie WR Michael Crabtree, who has to be feeling confident after his 35-yard TD catch against Arizona last Monday night. Crabtree sustained a hip contusion in the game but returned to action. He could cause problems for an Eagles secondary that got torched for 60-plus-yard TDs by Domenik Hixon and Hakeem Nicks last Sunday night.

With Bears WR Devin Hester questionable with a strained calf this Sunday after missing last week's game, the stage could be set for a pretty strong fantasy outing by Devin Aromashodu, who had a career-high eight catches for 76 yards and a very impressive TD catch matched up against Green Bay's Charles Woodson last Sunday in place of Hester. Also look for more production from rookie Johnny Knox, who had a career-high 83 yards and a 19-yard TD last week.

With Seahawks WR Nate Burleson looking like he might be done for the rest of the year with a high ankle sprain, Deion Branch takes over as the starting split end until further notice. Burleson's injury could also result in more opportunities for rookie Deon Butler, who has been worked more into the offense the last couple of weeks.

The Lions are in rough shape offensively with RB Kevin Smith out for the season, QB Matthew Stafford likely out against Arizona, WR Calvin Johnson's knee still tender and WR Dennis Northcutt (groin) not able to do much.

Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin (foot) will miss this Sunday's game vs. the 49ers and perhaps one more. Kevin Curtis, out since Week Two with a knee injury, is likely to get snaps, though he's not considered a good waiver pickup.

The Vikings are concerned about WR Percy Harvin's migraine headaches, which again have kept him out of practice this week. WR Bernard Berrian again was limited with a hamstring injury, though he likely will be fine to face the Panthers Sunday night.

Jaguars WR Mike Sims-Walker surprised a lot of folks by starting last Sunday despite being listed as doubtful on last Friday's injury report with a strained calf. While he started the game, the injury definitely limited his productivity, as he only caught one pass for six yards. Sims-Walker has improved since Sunday and is expected to start against the 20th-ranked Indy pass "D," which could be resting Antoine Bethea and others. He isn't a bad play as your second or third receiver this week.
